Job Responsibilities: - \xe2\x9d\x96 5 - 10 years of experience in the Database reliability domain with installation, management, upgrades, backup and restore of large PostgreSQL & MySQL \xe2\x9d\x96 Be a wizard with databases and associated technical configurations. \xe2\x9d\x96 Knowledgeable about performance tuning, query optimization, & index tuning. \xe2\x9d\x96 Strong hands-on experience on PostgreSQL database engines is a must, good to have understanding on MySQL. \xe2\x9d\x96 Experience working with flavors of RDS and Elasticache. \xe2\x9d\x96 Experience benchmarking, Good understanding of NoSQL datastores or data structure databases is definitely a plus. \xe2\x9d\x96 Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance, blocking and deadlocking, connectivity, security issues, etc. \xe2\x9d\x96 Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools \xe2\x9d\x96 Ability to detect and troubleshoot database servers related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and other resource contention. \xe2\x9d\x96 Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching. How statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively. \xe2\x9d\x96 Cloud Services such as AWS and RDS Qualifications: - 1. Candidates must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 2. Candidates should have at least 5 to 10 years of working experience in the PostgreSQL & MySQL and related fields is required for this position. 3. Notice period: Immediate joiner / 15 days 4.
