To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Production Supervisor within the Modified Starch team! This position will be located in Gokak.

Your Mission:

As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the production operations during your assigned shift and adhering to the guidelines with respect to SOP and budget.

Position purpose: Production management, Product quality management, Process management

Key competencies requirement (MUST HAVE)

• Must have very good analytical skills, manpower handling, Communication Skills & Strong decision making skills.
• Very good interpersonal skills to establish harmonious relations with other departments within the organization & government authorities.
• Multitasking skills.

Key Accountabilities :

• To run the assigned shift operation Safely by observing and rectifying the unsafe act and unsafe condition.
• Ensure plant/Equipment/Personnel hygiene & Safety, House keeping and Food safety regulations.
• Adhere to daily management routines.
• Adherence to Production planning, schedule and cascading to shop floor.
• Co-ordinate and guide the Operators and contract workers for better plant operation
• Achieving the daily, Monthly Production plan.
• Monitoring the process parameters and its adherence in all 3 shifts.
• Troubleshooting the process to avoid the downtime and to ensure continuous operation of plant.
• To support Manager in RCA and trouble shooting.
• Adhere to online Quality parameters as per specification.
• Co-ordinate with inter-departments to achieve the production plan and required quality on daily basis.
• Co-ordinate with inter-departments like Maintenance, Instrumentation, Electrical and Cogen to resolve/troubleshoot engineering related issues on daily basis.
• Monitor and improve performance of EHS Management system in the department

Experience : 2 to 4 Years preferably from similar industry.

Academics: Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical.
