: Plant Maintenance Engineer The person will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and electrical systems within plant. He will be crucial in preventing and resolving equipment failures, minimizing downtime, and optimizing production processes. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of machinery and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective repair or maintenance solutions.
• Coordinate with production personnel to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing disruption to production schedules.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and guidelines to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance history, repairs, and replacement parts.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyse data to identify trends and proactively address potential failures or inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in machinery and electrical systems to recommend improvements or upgrades for enhanced plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant Certifications or Vocational Training may also be considered.
• Previous experience in Plant Maintenance or a similar role is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of Machinery and Electrical systems, including their components, operation, and maintenance requirements.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize maintenance tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders at various levels.
• Good communication skills to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices in maintenance procedures.

Skills Required for Machine Maintenance:

• Knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, gears, bearings, belts, and pulleys.
• Proficiency in performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical failures and replacing faulty components.
• Familiarity with machining tools and equipment for repairing or fabricating parts.
• Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.

Skills Required for Electrical Maintenance:

• Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, controls, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical faults and performing repairs or replacements.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor controls, and electrical testing equipment.
• Understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulations.
