You will join our Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior (India) Pvt. Ltd, Pune.

Located in Chakan, it's a French automotive supplier specialized in the manufacturing and commercialization of plastics. Plastic Omnium Auto Exteriors division designs and develops lightweight and safe plastic fenders, bumpers and the tailgates. It is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of the plastic (passenger car) tailgates globally.

Your main tasks will be in:

Employee relations & internal communication

  • Maintain smooth communication and harmonious relationship with Union
  • Initiate disciplinary actions against the delinquent union employees.
  • Ensure 1st level of employee relation with employees and concerned managers. Escalate to country HR and senior management as required.
  • Propose and implement site communication plan with the aim to engage employees
  • Deploy internal communication policy to ensure the employees are informed properly: e.g. Information boards, newsletters, town hall meetings, events, rewards etc...
  • Propose creation of new policies where required; and help employee on-boarding on the same after validation and publishing
Compensation and benefit management
  • Responsible for Managing payroll administration of Plant and India Technical centre
  • Completes the various statements and statistics required by the local legal bodies: investigation on wages, labour movements
  • Establishes dashboards related to his/her areas of intervention: staff reporting, management control, Division reporting, HR dashboards, legal documents. Create and provide external monthly report to Social Security.
  • Create and provide internal monthly reports for H.R. and Finance areas. Keep her/his-self tuned to legal modification impacting payroll procedure
  • Ensure time and attendance management system works as per policy.
Temps administration (according to local organization):
  • Monitors temporary workers placed on the site: operating procedures, respect of recruitment criterions and labour law.
  • Participates in the recruitment of temporary staff. Participates in company welcome sessions for temporary staff.
  • Follow up the assessment of the temporary workers and monitors integration procedures.
Competency development & Training
  • With the lead of training specialist ensure employee competency development is in line with business needs on the shop floor.
HR admin & reports
  • Liaise as needed with HR Admin team to make sure all HR admin aspects are managed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure HR reports required at corporate, division, country and site level
General Administration
  • Ensure the complete plant location general administration i.e. Fleet management, cafeteria management, security, health insurance, statutory compliances, event management.
What are we looking for?

Applicants must have:
  • Business school, master's degree (likely with HR specialization).
  • 5 to 10 years of Experience in HR & Admin field Good experience in General Administration processes (industrial relations) and in statutory compliances. Good knowledge of local legislation. Experience in industrial context. Strong leadership and good communication skills. Good command of English
