Job Description

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, etc.) is usually required. 10-20+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production goals are met. Monitor production schedules, quality control, and cost efficiency. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

People Management

Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of department heads, engineers, supervisors, and workers. Foster a culture of performance, safety, accountability, and teamwork. Recruit, train, and develop staff.

Production Planning

Coordinate with planning and supply chain teams to ensure timely raw material procurement and product dispatch. Manage inventory levels and ensure optimum utilization of resources.

Quality Assurance

Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and certifications (ISO, GMP, etc.). Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.

Maintenance & Engineering

Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and utilities. Drive automation and technology upgrades where applicable.
