Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee operation and maintenance of

ammonia-based refrigeration systems

, compressors, condensers, and cold storage equipment. Ensure

efficient functioning of utilities

such as air compressors, boilers, chillers, and ice plants. Plan and execute

preventive and predictive maintenance schedules

to minimize downtime. Monitor system parameters, pressure, and temperature to ensure safe and efficient plant operation. Supervise technical staff and coordinate with production for smooth operations. Ensure

compliance with safety norms

, statutory requirements, and environmental standards (including Ammonia handling guidelines). Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systems. Maintain records, logbooks, and reports related to equipment performance and maintenance. Work closely with QA and Production teams to ensure uninterrupted cold chain operations.
