Purpose of Position

Search constantly the possibility to replace the overseas suppliers by domestic suppliers, optimize the suppliers, reduce purchase cost in the case of ensuring quality. Optimize the import & export procedures and reduce cost in the process.

Key Responsibilities

Developing Buying strategies that are inventive and cost effective.

Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms & deals

Approving purchase order and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.

Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Preparing procurement reports.

Create procurement strategies that increase efficiency and speed

Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gap

Generate and maintain all procurement related document for Audit purposes

Ensure a healthy operation of purchase system and make it comply with business requirement of the company.

Make sure the purchased materials are in compliance with quality requirement and relevant laws and regulations.

Evaluate and assess suppliers on annual basis, continuously enhance the ability of suppliers to meet company\xe2\x80\x99s demand for development.

keep track with orders to suppliers and from customers overseas and handle them timely,

Assist forwarders and foreign clients with all the paperwork for shipments in and out.

Support customs and CHA for shipments.

Basic awareness on export and import operations.

For important docs reserve hard and soft files for traceability.

Meet target as defined in the annual Review and Objectives.

V. Background and Skills

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, proficiency in Office and ERP.

Corresponding experience in procurement/plastic materials or components

Corresponding experience in import and export operations

Good written and oral communication skill

Strong negotiation skill.
