Main Tasks Be first point of contact for plant operations team for supplier caused QD issues Research supplier invoice discrepancies versus VCE established pricing, document and inform the commodity buyers who will take appropriate actions with the supplier For ECN parts / other low spend sourcing cases, send out RFQ\'s to approved suppliers, negotiate prices, and select suppliers in coordination with commodity buyers. ECN Management in close co-ordination with Technology and PPC to minimize scrapping cost Maintain plant vendor list updated and in line with commodity strategy and contribute for supplier rationalization Ensure achievement of Delivery precision for the site as per agreed targets RESPONSIBILITIES Be first point of contact for plant operations team for supplier caused QD issues Is part of PMT regarding product modifications / cost rationalization Manage serial production changes (ECN) Perform the activities required for the portfolio: negotiations (in line with Commodity Team). Optimize the total cost (Price, Quality, Logistics, manufacturing), investments Manage Purchase invoice discrepancies Support CST to recover warranty cost from suppliers Contribute to the achievement of the Purchasing KPIs Manage the working relationships with suppliers for the given site (in cooperation with other site functions) : quality, delivery, cost, participate in the SEM evaluations, key interface, RFQ Work in accordance with the Volvo CE processes, the Volvo Way, and the Volvo values and behaviors Required Qualification & Experience: Bachelors/ Master\'s Degree in Engineering with 4-6 years of experience in buying Commercial and/or technical background Proven experience in a Purchasing environment Knowledge of up to date supply chain strategies and implementation tools Strong communication skills and social competence Team player Business mindset and holistic view Creative attitude and energetic.
