Job Description

Role Overview:

The Planning Engineer role focuses on supporting project scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting to keep construction or real estate projects on timeline. This entry-level to mid-level position involves hands-on data collection from site teams, schedule updates using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, and collaboration with engineers. It plays a key part in identifying delays early, ensuring projects in sectors like real estate development stay aligned with targets.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Support development of baseline and look-ahead schedules. Collect daily and weekly progress data from site teams. Update schedules and assist in progress monitoring. Prepare basic progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly). Assist in tracking activities against planned targets. Support critical path and delay analysis under supervision. Coordinate with site engineers for planning inputs. Maintain planning documents and records.

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of project planning and scheduling concepts. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project. Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools. Willingness to learn and adapt. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and time management.
This role emphasizes fieldwork coordination and tool-based analysis, making it ideal for real estate projects were timely delivery impacts revenue. It supports senior planners while building hands-on expertise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?50,000.00 per month
