We are looking for a Digital Marketing architect who will script the story of a world class university-in-the-making from scratch and be its voice to the world

Need:

- We are looking for people to join us on this exciting journey and translate the ambitious vision into reality. The role is for a seasoned professional who can lead translate the ambitious vision into reality.

- Our need at the moment is a digital marketing specialist. The digital marketing specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing digital marketing strategies to promote the university and its programs to prospective students, alumni, and other key stakeholders.

- The Specialist will use a range of digital channels to reach and engage with target audiences, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization, paid advertising, and content marketing. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with other teams within the university, including Admissions, Communications, and Alumni Relations.

This is a full-time position.

The job description is a general outline of the duties and responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist role. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

What will you do?

- You will participate in envisioning the overall Digital Marketing strategy of the University, which is deeply aligned with the brand positioning of the University.

- This will include planning marketing campaigns, including web, Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, email, social media and display advertising.

- This will also include ensuring continuous presence across all digital channels, along with measuring and reporting on the performance of digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

- Designing, building and maintaining digital marketing strategy for Plaksha University including the postgraduate program and high school programs.

- Creating and implementing performance marketing campaigns and optimizing them to achieve the stated goal and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs). This includes platforms such as Google and social media.

- Building a lead nurture strategy in alignment with the brand, instrumentalizing conversion points and optimizing lead funnel.

- Co-ordinating with affiliates, platforms and CRM.

- Collaborating with internal teams to create landing pages and optimizing user experiences.

- Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly performance dashboards.

- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms.

- Identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spending and performance based on the insights available.

- Spearheading the search engine optimization for Plaksha. Optimizing website content for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the university\'s website.

- Collaborating with other teams within the university, including Admissions, Communications, and Alumni Relations, to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

- Planning and implementing new and creative growth strategies.

- Evaluating emerging technologies, and providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption of these into its marketing strategy.

Key Skills Required

- Undergraduate degree in marketing or any other related field.

- Demonstrable experience and knowledge in managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media.

- Creativity with identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.

- Working knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Social Media Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends, or the like).

- Knowledge of how to set up and optimize Google Adwords campaign.

- Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking.

- Updated knowledge about the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

- Editing and writing skills to devise and edit content for various digital platforms.
