JOB OVERVIEW :
Supports in operationalizing the HR Analytics agenda at PPL by driving digital HR and analytics projects and delivering actionable insights using analytics

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
- Solid Line Reporting to: HRBP PPL
- Dotted Line Reporting to: Head, HR Digitization
QUALIFICATION:
- Post Graduate in Engineering or Computer Applications/ Undergraduate in Engineering or Post Graduate Diploma or MBA in Systems
EXPERIENCE :
- Strong experience of at least 4 to 6 years in analytics or a similar role with strong understanding of PPL requirements in terms of HR and translating them into analytics initiatives
- In-depth expertise of data analytics, algorithms, data mining, data warehousing, big data; deep understanding of advanced research techniques, tools and assets
- Strong analytical skills and a clear understanding of ERP, HR Systems, and business concepts
- Exposure to understanding HR functional/ technical Requirements and converting the same to best practice business solutions, implementing it and effectively tracking it to closure.
- Ability to translate raw data into meaningful information and proactively identify issues & drive resolution

Key Roles/ Responsibilities:
- Supports in institutionalization of appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) which serve as the metric to evaluate HR activities at PPL
- Documents and deploys data management best practices to ensure access, integrity and security of data
- Understands Business HR needs to identify analytics and automation opportunities and build a delivery plan for the year
- Works closely with business HR functions and IT team for a successful delivery of HR analytics projects. Communicates the project status, issues, risks effectively in a timely manner to various stakeholders
- Supports in developing data-driven talent strategies by utilizing the best and most advanced techniques (machine learning, statistical regression modelling, online interactive dashboards) to drive strategic decision making and enable course correction
- Builds relevant HR dashboards/ MIS to track effectiveness of HR processes. Drives report creation using OBI and LMS BI engine
- Leverages availability of data on cloud to improve collaboration and availability of data from different geographies
