Requirement:

A Piping Design Engineer will be responsible for following;

• Should be able to Plan, Communicate, Control, Execute the project.
• Ensure timely execution timeline of project and Back-log clearance, if required.
• Coordinate with Piping Lead Engineer, Process, Civil/Structural, Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation groups, Stress and Support Engineers for optimal design to ensure design suits all these depts and for optimal design.
• Collaborate with Stress and Support Engineers for optimal design.
• Modelling of clips on equipment.
• Extract and check isometrics.
• Prepare Plot plans, nozzle orientation, platform drawings, Structure details and GAD\'S.
• Exposure to statutory requirements and codes applicable to onshore / offshore Oil and Gas industry. Should be capable of developing and coordinating activities for complex on-shore and off-shore plants.
• Familiarize with the scope of work. Follow all applicable procedures and work instructions.
• Meticulous attention to detail with getting design converted to Detailed drawing.
• Piping design, component selection (manual valves, flanges, piping, filters, fittings, gaskets, strainers, traps, etc...) and material requisition according to project specifications and internal standards.
• Technical alignment of piping system and supplier follow up.
• BoM and VDR deliverables management Select/verify/prepare, perform and check detailed technical designs (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments, design certificates).
• Should be capable of plant design with specific competencies on skids in coordination with other disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of design for maintainability, operability and accessibility of plants. Painting and coating basic awareness, ergonomics and accessibility assessment.
• Obtain independent checks and/or third-party technical approvals.
• Ensure design outputs meet health and safety/environmental compliance.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

• Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical.
• 7+ years with Consultants or EPC contractor in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Infrastructure industry.
• Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the -other teams.
• Good knowledge of piping design techniques, material and piping codes / standards
• Experience with Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• API certification is an advantage.
• Assist with promoting best practice internally and company to customers.
• Experienced in Piping Design as per ASME standards.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Experience working on Tools/ Software:

• Hands-on Experience with Navisworks is must.
• Hands-on Experience with AutoCAD in developing Plant Layouts /Skids /Modules/ Main Piping Layouts/ Pipe support.
• Piping design Software-AutoCAD, Navisworks(Must), SP3D, PDMS, E3D, MICROSTATION, 3D CAD, Smart\xc2\xae 3D, PDMS AVEVA, PDS, CADWorx, AutoPLANT, AutoCAD plant-3D, IronCAD, Lucidchart, SmartDraw, PROCAD Plant Design Suite, M4 PLANT.

G ood to have skills:

• Exposure to project planning software/tools.
• Experience with Share Point for document management.
• Experience in an engineering position in Oil and gas/ Petro-chemical/ LNG sector in Piping & structural engineering
