Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



? Responsible for meeting the top line volume and value targets set for each period of the financial year.

? Responsible for driving the team to achieve ASP and target EBIDTA

? Develop, plan and implement the business strategy to meet business targets and goals

? Cultivate strong customer base and new customers

? Develop and grow strong relationships with all stakeholders in the business

? Generate sales forecasts and sales & marketing strategies in sync with budget targets & marketing & business directives

? Regular interface with Technical and Operation teams to address tactical issues

? Analyze and interpret industry intelligence. Develop pricing and positioning of various product lines.

? Establish agreements and contracts with channel partners in line with business plan and business strategy.

? Effectively manage channel partners, set business targets and review progress periodically to ensure on track performance.

? Regularly scan the environment for new product / business opportunities and estimate business potentials for presenting to top management for consideration.

? Review opportunities for promoting products through trade shows, conferences, seminars, road shows and other channels and prepare annual calendar for participation in marketing activities

? Develop marketing budgets and periodically review to ensure spends are within the budged numbers

? Freedom to act independently in order to meet and/or exceed budget numbers for sales of all product lines

? Present sales performance to top management each month

STRATEGIC FOCUS:



? Gather complete understanding of the business in first three months

? Achieve sales budgets targets as determined by Management

? Prepare sound base for growth in next year through identifying opportunities, sampling and securing product approvals and sales contracts

NATURE & SCOPE:



? The position involves decision making in pricing, rebates, credit terms and managing channel partners.

? Driving team of sales Managers and Technical Service personnel to meet sales objectives and product development and qualification exercises

? Manage Customer service unit and setup process for effective and efficient communication with customers

? Develop and drive process to ensure high levels of OTIF

? Willing to travel both domestic and international based on business needs

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:



? Graduate / Post graduate degree in either Chemistry / Science with Business Management degree in Sales and Marketing.

? Minimum 15 years experience in sales of specialty chemicals in the coatings segment or similar industry. Technical experience in the coatings market is desired.

? Advanced computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

? Color Database experience - desired

? Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Knowledge of the key customers within the coatings industry would be preferred.

? Strong interviewing and information gathering skills with ability to organize and interpret disparate information.

? Demonstrable strong sales & business development track record & high-level negotiation skills.

? Ability to communicate & influence at all levels both internally & externally.

? Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

? Experience working within a multi-national company preferred.

? Must have a valid driver's license and valid passport.

CTC: INR 25 - 30 LPA .



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
