Position: P&ID Solutions Engineer
Qualification: - Engineering degree in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience
Experience:- 2-3 years
Location:- Anywhere in India / Remote
Communicate skills required for this role: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective collaboration across teams.
Office Timing & Working Days/Week Details: Monday to Friday 8-9 hours per day, flexible hours but some evening overlap as they'll be working with US teams
Fixed CTC: $1000-$1400 USD monthly
About the role
As a P&ID Solutions Engineer, you will apply your process or mechanical engineering background to interpret and analyze complex piping and instrumentation diagrams. You will transform these diagrams into high-quality, structured data using the company's proprietary tools, ensuring accuracy in representing process flow, instrumentation, and system interactions.
In this role, you'll work closely with a global team of engineers to support the digitization of highly complex process systems. You will leverage your knowledge of equipment, control logic, and process flow to contribute to precise, scalable solutions that enable our clients to make better, faster operational decisions.

Details of skills/experience required for the job:
Required Skills

• Engineering degree in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).

• Proven experience interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), including equipment, instrumentation, and control logic.

• Strong understanding of process flow, instrumentation, and industrial systems in sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or manufacturing.

• Familiarity with process safety documentation and industry standards.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills for working with highly complex diagrams.
• Attention to detail in identifying and resolving inconsistencies in diagram data and process representation.
• Proficiency in documenting technical information in a clear, structured, and concise manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective collaboration across teams.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of data structures and database-driven applications (especially graph databases).
• Experience working in a global or cross-cultural engineering environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Familiarity with specialized engineering software for P&ID digitization, diagram interpretation, or industrial process modeling.
• Exposure to digital twin concepts and industrial data integration.
