The Physical Security Engineer will be a part of a global team managing Facility Technologies group that supports Molex. The Physical Security Engineer will report to the Supervisor of the KGSI and will be part of a global team that is the first line of response for all Facilities Technology. What You Will Do . Manage the design and installation of Physical Security Systems throughout Molex as required. Such as initial design of security systems, layout, wiring/connections, and integration into network. . Collaborate with Security management and local entity lead team management and other departments to ensure that the organizational security needs and specific location needs are met in the most appropriate manner. . Coordinate with local facilities personnel, suppliers, and contractors for required installations, maintenance, etc. . Manage Video Surveillance and Access Control maintenance in all Molex locations as required. This also includes, but not limited to determining functionality and access requirements. . Communicate and educate local facilities on standards, procedures and best practices for systems and related activities. . Provide facilities IT systems support. . Understand, support, and comply with current Molex policies and practices related business programs. Including but not limited to government regulations, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S), Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management (TQM), and Management Systems. . Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) . Good knowledge of different facilities systems (e.g., Power distribution systems, facility related applications, etc.) . Good analytical skills for addressing issues in a logical and appropriate manner. . Strong organizational skills to coordinate prioritize and monitor the project objectives and timelines. What Will Put You Ahead . A bachelor\'s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience. . Knowledge about WAN, LAN, Compute, Script, Cloud. . Experience with the administration and troubleshooting of large enterprise networks or large managed service provider network. Other Considerations: (Physical demands/ unusual working conditions) . Will participate in a shift support rotation covering 7-Days per week/365 days per year. May have to work Saturdays/Sundays with days off during the week. .
