Teva Pharmacovigilance (Patient Safety) unit is hiring Safety Scientist, to join the Medical Scientific Unit team. This is an opportunity for a scientific minded individual who is looking for a role that requires analytical thinking and advanced work experience in ICSR signal detection process.

• Performing signal detection activities related to Teva products
• Participating in signal management activities
• Providing safety related inputs to documents related to Teva products
• Assure that all tasks are performed in line with relevant procedures
• Cooperate with other teams within Medical Scientific Unit and Teva Periodic Reports and Risk Management Centre, and other relevant groups within and outside of Teva Pharmacovigilance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 24 months (2 years) to maximum of 72 months (6 years) of experience in signal detection activities from ICSR case series.

Experience in signal detection process involving various other sources is an advantage.

Experience in pharmacovigilance, Knowledge of PhV regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA, etc.)

Graduation or Post-graduation from healthcare education which includes Pharmaceutical Science, Dental medicine, Veterinary, Nursing, Physiotherapy etc., (or) Post-graduation in Life Sciences domain (5-years of university or College education).

Good understanding of medical concepts and a confident user of English medical terminology.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Good communication skills, analytical capability, writing capability.

Assertiveness, ability to work under pressure, sometimes with tight deadlines.

Details oriented.

Flexibility to adapt to shifting team priorities.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms.

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a global team environment.
