- PGT Informatics Practices (IP) Teacher
Qualification:
Master's degree (MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science / M.Tech / or equivalent)
B.Ed. preferred (mandatory in many CBSE schools)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level
Responsibilities:
Teach Informatics Practices to Classes 11 & 12 as per CBSE curriculum
Cover core topics:
Python programming
Pandas, NumPy, Data Handling
Database concepts & SQL
Data Visualization
Computer networks & cybersecurity basics
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects & assessments
Conduct practical classes in the computer lab
Evaluate student performance and maintain records
Prepare students for board exams and practical exams
Maintain discipline and ensure proper lab functioning
Update knowledge with latest CBSE IP syllabus & tech trends
Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, and school events
Skills Required:
Strong command over Python, SQL, Data Handling, and CBSE IP syllabus
Good communication & classroom management skills
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple ways
Familiarity with smart classes and digital tools
Basic troubleshooting skills for lab systems (preferred)
