Registering new employees for PF and ESIC and generating their Universal Account Numbers (UAN) and ESIC numbers.
Statutory compliance:
Ensuring the company complies with all PF and ESIC regulations. This includes preparing and filing monthly and annual returns, uploading ECRs, and generating challans.
Employee support:
Assisting employees with their PF and ESIC-related queries, such as withdrawals, transfers, and benefits.
Audit support:
Assisting with internal and external audits related to statutory compliance.
Payroll and HR coordination:
Working closely with the payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate data for PF and ESIC calculations and other HR operations.
Record keeping:
Maintaining accurate records for all PF and ESIC-related activities.
Required skills and qualifications
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in statutory compliance, particularly with PF and ESIC, is often a minimum requirement.
Technical skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with the EPFO and ESIC online portals for e-filing are essential.
Knowledge:
A strong understanding of PF, ESIC, and other labor laws, such as Gratuity and Bonus, is crucial.
Soft skills:
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and good communication and coordination skills are vital for this role.
