Overview

Performance Engineering Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Experience with any of the Application Performance Monitoring tools like Dynatrace/ New Relic / AppDynamics and their admin capabilities
• Experience with any of operating system native tools like nmon/perfmon
• Experience with open source tools to identify the bottlenecks like JConsole/ Visual VM/ JRockit mission control/ GC viewer
• End-to-end execution and implementation of Dynatrace/New-Relic/AppDynamics solutions on complex customer environments - On-Prem/Cloud/Hybrid Cloud
• Experience in installation of APM tools and configuring agents in the server and Integration with other tools.
• Responsible for capturing/measuring and analyse Site Performance using tools like NewRelic / Dynatrace / AppDynamics
• Involve in projects needing APM solution from inception, PoC to complete implementation.
• Bring in best practices of the product to leverage the capabilities to the best.
• Experience in identifying bottlenecks in applications using various technology stakc (Java, .Net ..etc)
• Very good understanding of tool capabilities for a given customer environment
• Provide solutions on application performance issues and share reports with relevant stakeholders
• Should understand the challenges of customers, co-ordinate with vendor for a customized solution if needed.
• Should document resolved issues in an effective manner for knowledge management, cross-train peers with tool usage and assist in creation of best-practices, work independently on multiple assignments, proactively prioritizing focus and effort
• Should be able to estimate the efforts required for performance engineering engagements
• Clear understanding of architectural concerns of a modern containerized, micro-service environment
• Strong application performance analysis skills.
