Introduction: The Cheque Imaging Programme enables cheque’s image instead original paper through entire clearing & settlement processes using Clearing hub(CHUB) platform. This role of Performance test analyst is to partner with development, QA and Implementation team to ensure resiliency, performance & reliability of CHUB platform What will you be doing? Provide technical consultancy for new initiatives, to assist in the definition of business solutions or technical strategies. Undertake impact assessment including estimates for change requests against applications / products within the domain. Solve unique and complex technical problems with broad impact on the business unit as a whole. Provide full and detailed analysis, insightful commentary and recommendations for technical action / performance bottleneck observed as appropriate in accordance with agreed standards. Develop a broad awareness of new tools, processes and technical developments relevant to component area of expertise, and seek opportunities to apply them. Present complex technical ideas (both written and verbal), anticipate potential objections and persuade others to adopt the most appropriate view. Establish an end-to-end view and capture all key requirements. Establish clear non-functional requirements (e.g. capacity, availability, response times, etc.). Ensure that all NFRs & SLA are 'testable' and agree test strategy with business and test team lead. Understand technical constraints of live environment / architecture, support business clients in understanding any ‘requirement versus cost’ trade-offs. What skill we required? Must have 3-5 years’ experience in Non-Functional Testing. Must have experience in analysis and reporting of performance tests. Strong knowledge of Load-Runner, App-Dynamics, Ganglia, Wily, Kibana, etc. Strong knowledge of analysing and interpreting performance tests results via tools, able to identify bottlenecks Prior experience on API testing, and DB’s like Oracle, Understanding & experience in Heap & Thread Dump analysis, tuning recommendations to fix performance issues Understanding of Resiliency, Failover and HA Patterns Must be collaborative and able to share best practice at all levels. Must have the ability to identify and resolve issues within own team. Must be able to work individually and as part of a cross functional team including technology resources. Must be delivery focused and solution oriented attitude Content to be in priority order Skills that will help you in the role: C, Java or Shell script knowledge Understanding of Agile Methodologies Experience in Jenkins integration for Performance execution automation Experience of using test management tools as JIRA to manage testing activity and to provide testing metrics Prior experiencing in performance testing of application hosted in cloud (AWS / aPaaS)
