WHAT YOU\'LL DO You, as a people manager of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, Server Management team in Bangalore,

• Will work towards building a cohesive, motivated team, with a strong culture of collaboration.
• Will ensure business continuity by effective management of the teams\xe2\x80\x99 work \xe2\x80\x93 both daily operations and projects.
• Will work with the team to achieve their development plans and provide clear and timely feedback regarding their performance.
• Will identify / drive initiatives to increase the quality of the cloud operations, reduce outages, improve efficiency, identify & plug process gaps and do effective resource planning and utilization.
• Will bring in functional expertise in Linux OS, infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Baremetal ), automation and cloud technologies.
• As a manager, managing senior technical experts, you would be able to provide effective technical leadership in the team\xe2\x80\x99s areas of responsibility.

WHAT YOU\'LL BRING

• You bring in 12 - 16 years of hands-on relevant work experience on Linux OS, Infrastructure Administration (AWS, GCP, Baremetal servers), Container technologies, Central Infra components like LDAP, DNS, Repo etc .
• You come in as a passionate people manager, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Cloud mindset and experience within large cloud operations organizations. Experience in ITIL & ITSM.
• Experience communicating with customers on technical, service and operations topics, with the ability to handle escalated customer cases.
• Experience working in multi-cultural, global teams.
• Experience on operations ticketing tools, Agile methodologies, JIRA etc
• A visionary high performer & a strong executioner, who questions the status quo and identifies / implements innovation solutions.

MEET YOUR TEAM The SAP ECS Delivery Technical Operations team runs the HANA Enterprise Cloud and is responsible for the operation of the OS, DB & Apps as well as 24/7 support for our customers across multiple infrastructures \xe2\x80\x93 SAP DCs & Hyperscalers. Within this org, the Server Management (SM) team provides L3/L4 support to our customers globally on OS and infrastructure issues. Being the senior most technical team, Server Management team is also responsible for continuous improvement, automation development and innovation projects.
