As a People Data Analyst you will be a key member of a dynamic global team to build and enable data-driven decision making at Air Products. This role will give you the opportunity to work on a range of meaningful analytical projects that will not only provide you with the platform for demonstrating your analytical, statistical and communication capabilities, but will help you to grow them.
In this role you will report to the Global Manager \xe2\x80\x93 People Data & Insights on a journey of building the foundational infrastructure to enable Air Products to outgrow and outperform its competitors around the world. You will engage with clients and partners in our centers of excellence and HR line units who are doing industry-leading work across the HR function, and providing data insights and data-storytelling to the HR Business Partners representing the lines of business around the global following a consultative approach. You will be supported by a team with a shared commitment to creating an inclusive work environment, where all voices are heard and valued.
Responsibilities

• Standard reporting and analysis, design, development as business needs arise.
• Maintain functional mailbox of requests, assign or complete based on team workload
• Maintain security access groups, requests, and periodic audits to ensure data governance
• Identify & collaborate process improvement where gaps are identified for data & reporting purposes
• Analytical projects may include proactive, complex, solution building and data-storytelling
• Provide a consultative approach in the context of People Data & Insights SME (subject matter expert)
• Build strong collaborative relationships within People Data & Insights team and various stakeholders throughout the organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related field. Equivalent demonstrative work experience acceptable.
• 3+ years of experience applying analytical methods to business problems, driving improved decision-making and outcomes
• Proficient in MS Office, with an expertise in Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to organize data and a demonstrated knowledge of research design, statistical analysis, and measurement.
• Knowledge of & Interest in HR processes including Diversity & Talent Acquisition topics
• Exceptional critical thinking skills with ability to document & communicate in a clear/concise manner
• Project management skills
• Experience with one or more HRM or Recruitment systems
• Ability and willingness to learn new technology platforms
• Strong attention to detail and high commitment to data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Data visualization applications (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc)
• Ability to translate business questions/needs into appropriate analytical problems, do high-quality analysis, and turn outputs into concrete, actionable business insights
• Comfort with clarifying ambiguous requests from management, and ability to effectively turn them into detailed work plans and contracted deliverables that meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs
• Experience working in a global environment
• Experience and comfort working in an evolving and maturing HR Data Analytics environment
