We are seeking a motivated PEGA Application Developer join our team, which will create reusable components for Lines of Business throughout the Enterprise for PEGA Rules Processer Commander (PRPC), a Java-based development tool kit automating work processes across disparate operation areas using an accelerated AGILE development model. This individual will work as a project team member leading applicable project life cycle phases including technical requirements, design, construction and systems integration. Ensures adherence to coding standards, procedures and techniques, and that all technical documentation is complete and in compliance with company standards as per the reference architecture. Participates in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements, creating technical requirements, technical designs, coding, testing, for components used by other development teams. Provides project estimates and updates to project managers. Learns and employ banks' IT control policy and corporate architectural standards when designing and building application workflows and create appropriate project documentation. Debugs application issues and provide 3rd level support for resolution of production issues. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Bachelor's/Master'sdegree in Computer Science (or equivalent field of study) 8 - 12 years of relevant experience with PEGA as a Software Engineer strongly preferred Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental toolsets Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals Passionate about building an innovative culture Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement Must have experience with Pega Systems PEGA (7.x/8.x Version), including PRPC optimization, profiling, and troubleshooting. Experience in enterprise level systems development with demonstrated knowledge of industry standard interface protocols (SOAP, REST, and HTTP). Experience designing and implementing enterprise class rules and complex workflows. Experience with CSS, JAVA SCRIPT, and HTML for UX and UI related changes. Experience and demonstrated knowledge of XML and UNIX Systems Architecture. Experience with BIX for end of the day reporting. Experience with Oracle or DB2 (stored procedures, PL/SQL, and query optimization). Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment using JIRA and Confluence. Experience with Pega Standards, Pega Upgrades and Guardrails. Experience with PRPC Integrations (Inbound and Outbound Integration using Web Services and Middleware). Demonstrated business and product knowledge, including Business Process Analysis and Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO). Experience managing rapid changes and concurrent development. Experience creating highly available systems Pega cloud Experience is an added bonus.
