Development - Pedagogy and Training Specialist - Passionate about education sector and willing to explore new ideas to improve teaching- learning. - One who deep dives to understand the requirements for enabling system stakeholders and design & develop modules for enhancing their understanding on educational perspectives, policy frameworks essential for transforming government schools. - A facilitator who connects different stakeholders of government school ecosystem, align them for the common mission by providing the right perspectives required for Education transformation at different levels - Open to work in dynamic work environment and deepen one\xe2\x80\x99s experience by learning and self-discovery - One with effective communication, reading and writing skills in Kannada and English, good self-awareness and emotional intelligence Purpose: The primary role of this position is to understand the need for developing educational perspectives and educational policy frameworks among the key stakeholders of Government education system at different levels. Design develop and facilitate training modules and courses that are essential to enhance the understanding, knowledge and skills of the stakeholders required for education transformation at different levels. Location: Candidate is expected to work closely with the teams at both Bangalore office and filed locations

  • Work out of Bangalore Office: 60% of the time
  • Work out of various district offices: 40% of time
Currently CWC works in Ramanagara, Tumakuru & Madhugiri educational districts and is actively working towards expanding the programs to various other districts in Karnataka in the coming years. Key 1. The primary responsibility of Learning and Development - Pedagogy and
Responsibilities: Training Specialist is to Design hands-on experiential learning modules for teachers, teacher educators and educational functionaries both in
Curricular and Co-Curricular areas such as Pedagogy, SME, Leadership and
Management, Educational Perspectives, Policy Frameworks, personal effectiveness and motivation, communication, child psychology, Non
Violent Communication, etc. 2. Precisely identify the gaps in perspective, knowledge, skills & attitudes, and develop appropriate training modules, methods, and processes needed to improve the same among system stakeholders at different levels 3. Build a resource pool of experts at the District level (consisting of both internal team members and Dept RPs) to facilitate the training sessions in the both curricular and co-curricular areas mentioned above in Sl. No.1 4. Facilitate training sessions along with the field teams and the Resource
Persons of the Dept as per the requirements identified in the field 5. Co-ordinate with District / Block / Cluster level functionaries and RPs for planning, implementation, review, and evaluation of training programs \xe2\x80\x93 by taking up the role of a SPOC 6. Coordinate closely with the field teams to ensure data collection, needs assessment, consultation with Dept stakeholders, receive and analyse feedback, outcome analysis, generating reports, etc. 7. Understand organizational vision, goals, and activities at the District,
Block / Cluster and School level and plan the programs in the district accordingly. 8. Participate in Design, planning, implementation, monitoring, review and documentation of program activities. 9. Visit offices of the dept at district and block level to participate in meetings and reviews of the training programs implemented by CWC and
Dept 10. Preparations of monthly / weekly plans and reports related to the training programs / sessions and sharing the same with the concerned internal and external stakeholders at regular intervals. 11. Qualifications & for the organization that are based on trust and collaboration
Skills Required: - Strong Academic Background \xe2\x80\x93 Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Science/ Mathematics / English, B.Ed / M.Ed \xe2\x80\x93 Any specialization, Ph.D/ Doctorate \xe2\x80\x93 Any
Specialization - Knowledge of NCERT and DSERT curriculum, National curriculum
Frameworks, National Education Policies, Various assessment techniques, development of rubrics - Working knowledge of creating training modules in both curricular and co-curricular concepts, good training and facilitation skills - Creative and out-of-the-box thinking
- Passion for Education and social change and Willingness to learn & work in Govt educational space - Good communication skills in both Kannada and English are mandatory.
Other language skills such as Urdu, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil are preferable. - Being sensible and reflective
- Ability to collaborate with Officers of the education dept and internal team members towards attainment of both individual and collective team goals. - Strong analytical skills. Solid working knowledge of tools like Excel, Power point, word etc is a must. - Documentation skills in both Kannada and English is essential
- Ability to Travel frequently is mandatory. Most of the travel will be to Education Offices in district and Blocks and sometimes to Cluster level
