PC Lifecycle - Fleet analyst

Description -

The fleet manager is responsible for end to end management of assets - PC, Printers, Accessories etc throught out its lifecycle right from procuement until asset disposition. The selected candidate will lead the IT asset management services by coordinating the receipt and distribution of physical IT assets; tracking and maintaining both hardware and software purchases and warranty/maintenance agreements; and promoting a culture of property accountability.

Job Responsibilities
1. Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning and demand planning
2. Develops logistics plans in order to coordinate distribution of IT assets during life cycle.
3. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and accountability.
4. Conducts distribution studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
5. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned; experience with End User management Services is desired
6. Participates in special projects as required
7. Manages accurate fleet data information and provides monthly and quarterly compliance status reports
8. Work with the team of admins to ensure the asset is managed as per processes during its entire lifecycle

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor or Master Degree
  • 6+ years relevant experience in similar role delivering services to commercial customers
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Strong familiarity and technical comptence with asset management / Inventory tracking tools like ServiceNow, SCCM etc.
  • Must have understanding of relational databases and expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Requires the ability to analyze systems to develop and revise standards and procedures.
  • Strong experience with operational management of issue resolution using ITIL framework
  • Demonstrated experience for in-scope processes, and tools
  • ITIL certification and Project management expertise, certification is desired
  • Solid working knowledge of IT Technologies including O365, Windows and hardware
  • General accounting, finance, marketing and logistics

  • Eye to detail, be good at problem-solving as well as possess outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and organizational skills
  • Be a team player and leader to analyze information, solve problems and provide guidance to the fleet admins
  • General technical understanding of products.
  • Problem detection and analysis of root cause

Internal
  • CS CC delivery global teams including Other RMC and PCL teams within GSDT / CSSC / Finance teams/ SDMs / Transition mgrs / Account Service Team, CMO operations,
External
  • External delivery partners / suppliers like Asset remarket & recycle vendors / HPE FS
