Collect and verify attendance, leave, and overtime data from biometric systems or HRMS.
Calculate monthly salaries, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and incentives.
Process salary disbursements through banking systems on scheduled dates.
Statutory Compliance:
Ensure timely calculation and deposit of statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax.
Generate and file monthly/quarterly statutory returns (PF, ESI, etc.).
Coordinate with auditors and government departments for payroll-related inspections or queries.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain up-to-date payroll records, including salary structures, bank account details, tax declarations, and employment status.
Handle payroll inputs for new joiners, resignations, and full-and-final settlements.
Generate payslips and Form 16 for employees.
Coordination & Communication:
Liaise with HR, Finance, and Department Heads for payroll inputs and approvals.
Address employee queries related to salaries, deductions, tax calculations, and payslips.
Reporting & Reconciliation:
Prepare payroll reports for management, including headcount, cost to company (CTC), and variance analysis.
Reconcile payroll data with accounting records for audit purposes.
