Our Team

Koch Industries rolled out an enterprise-wide Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, globally, in 2019. This role will initially be responsible to support Payroll Processing and transactions; trouble shoot any issues that arise, build out self-service knowledge articles, and prepare to take on additional Payroll transactions as the global HR operating model evolves. As additional HR work moves from the businesses to the HR Solutions Centers, this role will continue to evolve and grow in responsibility and scope

\xc2\xb7 Understand and apply on our culture of Market Based Management\xc2\xae

\xc2\xb7 Support team on providing an exceptional consumer experience for all employees

\xc2\xb7 Quick in learning technology and be able to provide Payroll processing and transactional support to all employees, managers, and the HR community (our consumers).

\xc2\xb7 Ensure team provides exceptional consumer experience while resolving customer questions and troubleshooting technical errors (for example, a mass upload error\'ed- why? A payroll rejects- why?)

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other KBS HR Solution Center supervisors to share best practices, innovation opportunities and overall process and tool improvements

\xc2\xb7 Ensure SLA (service level agreement) targets and Quality are maintained

\xc2\xb7 Ability to proactively identify, challenge, and resolve large variances

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) practices to create and update knowledge articles

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for incoming cases through HR Case & Knowledge Management tools

\xc2\xb7 Develop a good working relationship with the HR/HRIS community through effective communication

\xc2\xb7 Reach out to relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of transactions and manage expectations

\xc2\xb7 Maintain Payroll database, and support audit to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with relevant procedures

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

\xc2\xb7

\xc2\xb7 The ability to fluently speak, read and write in English

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent

\xc2\xb7 A minimum of three (3) years of strong experience in processing US payroll process and transactions (Garnishments; Time file upload, Offcycle payroll, Stop and reissue)

\xc2\xb7 Should have a good understanding of basic data fields in Payroll HR Information System and workflows

\xc2\xb7 Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

\xc2\xb7 Experience communicating with all levels of an organization

\xc2\xb7 Experience researching, troubleshooting and resolving consumer inquiries

\xc2\xb7 Experience collaborating and working on a team with a high level of accountability for self and others

\xc2\xb7 Experience working with any HCM and payroll platforms (Infor, SAP, ADP, GreyTHR etc.) and Case Management System (ServiceNow, etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead

\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of how data flows between systems and a desire to root cause when something goes wrong

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and the ability to make connections (for example, if X then a downstream impact could be Y. Don\'t just \xe2\x80\x9ccheck the box\xe2\x80\x9d of a process.)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to handle high volume of transactions/work and handle and prioritize competing demands

\xc2\xb7 Curiosity, willingness to challenge (for example, if request is submitted with a certain wage type that doesn\'t seem consistent with the request- challenge).
