IIPC was the first collegiate program in the country offering discerning students the opportunity to be trained in globally recognized skills and earn qualification in Hospitality Management Job Title - Pastry Chef & Centre Head Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Pastry Chef & Centre Head located in Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves l eading the institute, managing and leading the pastry team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pastry department, and ensuring that high-quality desserts and pastry items are prepared and served. In addition, the role requires collaborating with other departments to develop new pastry items, managing department budgets, and ensuring compliance with food regulations and standards. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pastry Chef & Centre Head with a passion for pastry and bakery arts. The ideal candidate will spearhead our institute\'s mission to cultivate world-class pastry chefs and bakers, drawing upon their extensive knowledge and experience in this specialized field. Key Responsibilities: Lead the institute with a visionary approach to pastry and bakery arts education. Oversee curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with contemporary industry standards. Mentor and guide students, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Collaborate with industry experts to enhance practical learning experiences. Manage faculty and staff, ensuring optimal performance and professional development. Ensure the highest standards of culinary education and training. Qualifications : Must be a professional Pastry Chef or Bakery Chef. Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Bakery and Pastry Arts. Extensive knowledge and expertise in Bakery and Pastry Art training and education. Strong leadership qualities with experience in an academic or educational setting.
