Job Summary

The Panel Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating and managing sales of electrical/control panels and related automation products to OEMs, system integrators, and end-users in the manufacturing and process industries. The role requires strong technical knowledge combined with sales acumen to offer appropriate solutions, build client relationships, and meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development*

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for panel products and automation solutions.
Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, exhibitions, referrals, and online sources.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients (OEMs, integrators, consultants).
Technical Consultation*

Understand client requirements and suggest suitable panel configurations, automation components, and solutions.
Provide technical presentations and product demos to customers.
Coordinate with design/engineering teams to prepare technical proposals and quotations.
Quotation & Negotiation*

Prepare and follow up on quotations in coordination with internal teams.
Negotiate pricing, delivery, and commercial terms with clients.
Close sales deals and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
Project Coordination*

Liaise between customer and internal teams during project execution.
Ensure timely delivery, installation (if applicable), and after-sales support.
Market Intelligence*

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Provide feedback to management for product and strategy development.

Qualifications & Experience

Education*: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering

Experience*: 2-5 years in technical sales, preferably in:

Control Panels (LT Panels, MCC, PLC Panels, etc.)
Industrial Automation (PLC, HMI, VFD, SCADA, Sensors)
Mechanical and electro-mechanical components (as applicable)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
