Head Chef/ Sous Chef (Pan Asian)

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Pan Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and other regional specialties. Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes. Innovate and introduce new Pan Asian recipes while maintaining traditional offerings. Oversee daily operations of the Pan Asian kitchen section. Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock of fresh ingredients. Minimize wastage and optimize kitchen efficiency. Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in Pan Asian culinary techniques. Assist in staff scheduling and delegation of responsibilities. Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients. Work closely with the Head Chef and service team to meet customer preferences and expectations. Customize dishes for special requests and dietary needs. Work with the creative and marketing team closely for sharing information for media & food photography.

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field. Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Pan Asian cuisine. Strong knowledge of Pan Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles. Creativity in developing and presenting Pan Asian dishes. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Expertise in sushi, dim sum, wok techniques, and regional Pan Asian specialties. Basic knowledge of food cost management. Familiarity with dietary trends and allergen guidelines. Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays. Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen equipment.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
