Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, and fixtures, using techniques appropriate for heritage buildings. Perform touch-ups and full repaints to maintain the historical integrity and appearance of the property. Match historical color palettes and finishes using traditional and modern materials as required. Repair and prepare surfaces (e.g., plaster, wood) prior to painting to ensure a long-lasting finish. Collaborate with architects, designers, or heritage consultants during restoration or renovation projects. Apply stains, varnishes, or other finishes to wood and metal surfaces as needed. Maintain records of paintwork, materials used, and schedules of repainting or restoration. Use scaffolding, ladders, and other tools safely in line with hotel safety regulations. Work with minimal disruption to guests and hotel operations, maintaining discretion and professionalism.
