Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Paid Search (SEM) Marketing Manager to join our team and help driving Prime Video India customer acquisition. You will define, execute, and measure Paid Search marketing from strategy to execution to drive scalable growth for the business - including manual campaign execution, testing, and developing scalable processes. This marketer will be passionate about measuring ROI, as well as a thinking big to develop capabilities to optimize SEM. This person will build highly impactful paid search campaigns and test into white space opportunities.
This is a high-visibility position with scope for creativity and self-development. You will develop a detailed understanding of digital marketing (SEM in particular) and understand the long-term financial impact of customer behavior trends. The role requires a highly analytical mindset as well as a curiosity to seek out new possibilities. You should be attracted to the analytical and technical side of marketing as well as to the creative and experimental side, consistently using one to inform the other. You will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. Key job responsibilities
Manage Paid Search campaigns for Amazon Prime Video India.
Execute campaign optimization tactics (bidding, ad copy and landing page testing) to achieve spend efficiency and volume targets.
Partner with strategic cross-functional teams to support plans and execution for upcoming content launches.
Derive critical insights from data (front-end performance metrics from search engine vendors and back-end Amazon actions) and synthesize recommendations to deliver improvements to campaign performance.
Define and run tests, including A/B experiments to test new vendor features and/or inform new product development.
Conduct in-depth analyses to refine our understanding of the Search space and uncover optimization opportunities.
Translate channel insights into test plans, product/feature proposals, and opportunities for optimization .
Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and concise business actions and recommendations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

6 years in Paid Search (SEM) managing direct response or acquisition marketing campaigns, including ad copy testing experience.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with Paid Search (SEM) mechanics and most common search engine advertising platforms (Google, Bing, Yahoo).
Experience using any of the following Paid Search management tools: Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads Editor, Marin Software, Google AdWords, Google Keyword Planner & Google Search Console.
Experience with modern BI tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders.
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
Proficiency with analytics, performance monitoring, advertising deployment and attribution tools and ability to do deep data analysis to develop recommendations.
Highly effective written skills honed to develop thoughtful, strategic and detailed narratives
Thriving in Amazons Day 1 culture requires a growth mindset, exceptional communication skills, and an innate ability to deal with ambiguity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced SQL skills.
Demonstrated leadership and communication (written and verbal) skills to drive recommendations. Ability to articulate tradeoffs, explain complex issues and communicate plans to senior executives.
Time-management skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, making the necessary trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate. Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, drive rationale, discover root causes and identify opportunities.
