Job Description

Food preparation:

Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, steamed items, noodles, and dim sum.

Ingredient management:

Select and prep fresh ingredients, manage stock, and ensure all food is stored and handled properly to maintain quality and freshness.

Menu development:

Follow recipes accurately and, depending on the role, may assist in developing new menu items or adapting recipes to meet customer preferences or dietary restrictions.

Kitchen maintenance:

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Teamwork:

Coordinate with other kitchen staff, such as sous chefs and line cooks, to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
