We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

About the Project

The chosen candidate will be working on Google Cloud applications delivering RWA calculation & regulatory reporting process.

This application is using the compute power of Cloud technology to redesign our operating model and take a data driven approach to reporting, rather than an output driven approach. We also have a goal to ensure a coordinated and consistent implementation of the Basel III reform approach across HSBC.

In this role, you will:

• Participate/lead E2E feature delivery \xe2\x80\x93 requirement analysis, design, development, environment build, data load, testing, deployment
• Provide support to DevOps teams working across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing the skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.
• Contribute actively in design workshop, code review, troubleshooting
• Test Data Management including Data Refresh, Data Masking Co-ordination and communication with key stakeholders. Execution of ad hoc batch jobs in any of dev environments, based on project/testing requirements.
• Automate tasks through tools and scripts. Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
• Communicate with the relevant stake holder regarding resolving technical issues related to delivery of projects and for IT incidents for Services involved
• Ensure implementation of continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant IT controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Should have at least 6-8 years of hand-on experience Proven experience as a technical SME/Lead role.
• In-depth knowledge on database Oracle/NoSQL/PLSQL, extensive experience on writing efficient SQL Scripts
• Experience on UNIX/Python, Control M/any batch scheduling technologies. In-depth knowledge on Linux commands
• Tools \xe2\x80\x93 Github, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins
• Experience on DevOps and Agile Methodologies
• Knowledge on Cloud, Tableau, Added advantage
• Experience of working with diverse Business and IT teams.
• Good to have knowledge on Credit risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk & Regulatory reporting
