Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Developer is responsible for the implementation of technical solutions for Enterprise System (ES) applications, reporting and system integrations within the company. They will act as an intermediary between the Business Analysts (BAs), technical support and development teams working to translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. The Technical Developer is an active thought partner and application visionary who shapes the technology demand based on Enterprise System\xe2\x80\x99s vision and strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

\xc2\xb7 Work with BAs, technical support and development teams to create and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform that defines the people, processes, tools, and technology.

\xc2\xb7 Partners with ES and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Partners with ES and technology partners to prioritize IT Projects and enhancements.

\xc2\xb7 Acts as a conduit for ES changes for applications, reporting and system integrations.

\xc2\xb7 Partners with ES BAs to conduct user acceptance testing.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

\xc2\xb7 Analyzes, documents and tests program development, logic, process flows and specifications.

\xc2\xb7 Develop PL/SQL database objects, SQL scripts, interfaces, reports and forms using standard tools as necessary to support business processes and technical requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & WORK TRAITS

Required

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Oracle EBS modules, workflows, and table schemas.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Code migration and Deployment using WLST.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in handling of production incidents, creation of knowledge base.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to follow up with Oracle Support on Product Issues.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to interact at all levels of the organizations. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in an offshore-onsite global delivery model context.

\xc2\xb7 Create high availability design, provide infrastructure strategy, and perform testing of solution components.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience in writing software requirements and test specifications.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of programing languages and database tools.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated an understanding of SDLC.

\xc2\xb7 Able to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of latest trends in technology and industry best practice and ability to learn and adopt to newer technologies.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience in working with global teams and supporting global business functions.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in Oracle EBS instance.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to partner with software engineers and quality analysts to identify course of resolutions.

\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of system design and system integrations.

\xc2\xb7 In depth understanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Implementation using best practices in design, code and deployment.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) implementations.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementations.

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of five years of technical experience in analyzing and supporting Oracle modules.
