Job Description

Database Responsibilities:


Install, configure, and maintain relational databases (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL).


Monitor database performance and implement tuning techniques.


Perform regular backups, restore operations, and ensure data integrity.


Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.


Troubleshoot database issues, including locking, deadlocks, and replication failures.


General:


Participate in on-call support rotation for production systems.


Collaborate with developers and QA teams for application deployment and support.


Maintain documentation related to systems and database configurations.


Assist with capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
