Summary: Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
Duties & Responsibilities: Job description: As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the effective use of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Finance Modules. You will partner with the business units to ensure the efficient use of technology and provide ongoing enhancements as the business changes or new functionality is introduced in the applications. Your success will depend on maintaining strong relationships with internal business partners to ensure the best use of technology to facilitate their business processes. This position requires an analytical mindset, accuracy and creative problem-solving skills.
Should have around 8 to 12 years of experience in core Oracle Finance Applications Modules - GL, AP, AR, CM, AGIS, FA, SLA. In additional exposure to iExpense, Sabrix, MarkView is preferred.
Understanding set-up/configuration/administration areas to support current service portfolio.
Interact with End-users on clarification of incidents/problems and provide resolution to global users
Analyst will partner with business units to ensure efficient use of application and help enhance application
Responsible for understanding the current process, identify and deliver service improvements
Should be able to configure new org structures whenever required
Coordinate process improvements with business; gather and document functional requirements
Maintain and improve system interfaces between key applications
Support a change management process to manage patch applications and changes to the configurations
Develop test plans and manage user testing for system changes
Support new ERP or business unit initiatives and projects which may include new functionality, process improvements or migrating new business units onto the systems
Qualifications: The successful candidate should possess the following pre-requisites and skillsets:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, computer science or business with 5+ years of experience as a systems or business analyst. Candidates with accounting (CA, MBA) background preferred.
Understand standard features and custom development
Must be a self-starter & must have excellent communication skill
Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver
Ability to analyse and document complex business processes
Must be a team player and be able to interact well with all users, peers, and executive management
