ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager, OCI Network Specialist to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking and extensive experience in presales, delivery, and program management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network specialists, driving successful presales activities, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of OCI networking projects, and managing program-level initiatives. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Presales Leadership:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop compelling OCI networking solutions.

• Lead the creation of technical proposals, presentations, estimations, and demonstrations to showcase the value of OCI networking to potential clients.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on OCI networking architecture and best practices.

• Delivery Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of OCI projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans.

• Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Program Management:

• Lead and manage multiple OCI projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Develop and maintain program-level plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.

• Monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead a team of OCI specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and development.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred.

• Extensive experience in presales, delivery, and program management, with a focus on OCI networking, preferably in the cloud services industry.

• In-depth knowledge of OCI networking concepts, including VCNs, subnets, security lists, route tables, load balancers, VPN connections, and network security.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex OCI networking projects.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS).

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and network analyzers.

• Proven experience in deploying virtual firewall appliances like Palo Alto, Fortigate, Checkpoint etc in HA mode in OCI along with deploying virtual firewall appliances in OCI DR region for seamless traffic flow between OCI primary and DR regions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Relevant certifications in OCI or related networking technologies are highly desirable.
