Role Description

Role Description: Oracle Apps Technical (EBS Developer)
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology developer with experience in developing scalable applications and platforms. They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. The person should be a self-motivated person with a passion for problem solving and continuous learning.

Role and responsibilities

• Collect requirements, design, develop and test software code.
• Fix bugs and provide production support.
• Prioritize across multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Learn new technologies outside his/her primary skills.
• Develop solutions to challenging problems.
• Effectively communicate with team members, project managers and clients, as required.

Long Description

Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,

• SQL, PL-SQL & RICE Components.
• Develop applications, reports and interfaces using standard Oracle development methodologies.
• BI Publisher, RDF/XML & Discoverer Reports.
• Form Personalization's.
• Unit test the reports with standard E-Business suite application.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization.
• Table level technical knowledge on OM, Inventory Management, Purchasing, GL, AR, AP, FA.
• SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL Loader

Nice-to-have skills

• SQL Tuning
• EBS Finance/SCM functional knowledge
• Performance Improvements and External Integrations
• Ability to develop applications and modules keeping scalability and performance in mind.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of work experience in EBS Development
• B. Tech., M. Tech. or MCA or an equivalent degree from a reputed university
