Job Profile - Oracle Applications Functional Analyst III . You will play a senior role and be responsible for leading the functional design in the finance domain, configuration, and support of applications with a primary focus on the global deployment of applications in the e-Business suite. . Core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, the configuration of standard applications, gap analysis, functional design of application extensions, and end-user support for multiple modules in multiple geographies. . Perform gap analysis to determine the finance system configuration and development changes. . Create business requirement documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents, and implementation documents. . Work with the business and development team to design and implement system modifications. . Collaborating with businesses, developers, and testers would be best to produce efficient and scalable solutions. . Focus on improving development and architecture standards by adopting industry standard methodologies. Additionally, you will also enhance, support, and follow Expedia SDLC. . Work with business, customers, developers, and oracle, document, and resolve system issues. . Follow all possible avenues to get the job done. . Adaptable - undertake various tasks willingly, and adapt quickly to new technologies and products. . Possess 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Financials supporting more than one of the following applications, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Account Receivables, Payments, Cash Management, and Financial Accounting Hub,. . Having experience in Oracle e-business suite release R12 in a multi-organization and multi-set of books environment, including set up and configurations of Legal Entities and Operating Units. . Knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables and integration points with various technology processes is critical to success in this role. . Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines are necessary skills. . Ability to work independently with limited general supervision. . Ability to collaborate with diverse business customers and drive consensus when conflicting requirements are identified. . A strong desire to work in such an environment is important to success. . Familiar with high-volume transactional systems, microservice design, continuous delivery, automated deployments, and related engineering practices. . Effectively communicate with others courteously, thoughtfully, and professionally and demonstrate multi-tasking ability to orchestrate multiple activities at a time.
