Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to detect vision problems and eye diseases.
Perform refraction and prescribe corrective lenses and visual aids.
Assist ophthalmologists in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-ups.
Conduct contact lens fittings and provide patient education on lens care.
Use and maintain advanced diagnostic tools such as OCT, Fundus Camera, Perimeter, etc.
Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
Counsel patients regarding vision care and eye health.
Support in LASIK evaluations, cataract counseling, and other specialty clinics.
Ensure adherence to all clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Participate in outreach programs and eye camps as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Optometry (B.Optom or M.Optom) from a recognized institute.
1-5 years of relevant experience in a hospital or eye care clinic (Freshers may also apply based on requirement).
Proficiency in refraction, retinoscopy, slit-lamp examination, and contact lens fitting.
Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic procedures.
Excellent communication and patient handling skills.
