Ensure high standards of optometry services across all assigned hospitals and vision centers.
Standardize refraction, diagnostics, pre- and post-operative optometry protocols.
Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
Support ophthalmologists with accurate clinical assessments and documentation.
Team Management & Training
Lead, mentor, and evaluate optometrists across Tamil Nadu locations.
Conduct regular clinical audits, skill assessments, and performance reviews.
Organize training programs, CME sessions, and onboarding for new optometrists.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, ethical practices, and professional conduct.
Operational Excellence
Coordinate with hospital administrators for manpower planning and rostering.
Ensure optimal utilization and maintenance of optometry equipment.
Support NABH / quality standards related to optometry services.
Assist in implementing new services, technologies, and clinical initiatives.
Outreach & Travel Responsibilities
Travel extensively across Tamil Nadu to hospitals, vision centers, and outreach camps.
Support community outreach programs, school screening initiatives, and camps.
Provide clinical and operational support during new center launches.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and submit periodic performance, productivity, and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory, clinical, and internal audit requirements.
Act as a clinical liaison between optometry teams and central management.
