Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients in selecting suitable spectacles and lenses based on prescription, face shape, lifestyle, and budget. Explain lens types (single vision, bifocal, progressive), coatings (anti-glare, UV, blue light), and frame materials. Take accurate measurements for fitting - pupillary distance (PD), segment height, etc. Process orders for prescription glasses and ensure timely delivery. Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and optical accessories. Handle billing, payments, and coordinate with the accounts team. Achieve sales targets and promote new arrivals and offers. Maintain display and cleanliness of the optical showroom area. Resolve patient complaints related to eyewear and provide after-sales service. Coordinate with the in-house optometrists and ophthalmologists for patient prescriptions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of optics, eyewear products, and lens types. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Sales and customer service skills in a healthcare or retail environment. Basic computer knowledge for billing and order processing. Fluency in

Telugu, Hindi, and English

. Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Qualification & Experience:

Education: Diploma in Optometry / Certificate in Optical Dispensing / Any Graduate Experience: 1-3 years in optical sales or as an optician (hospital or retail optical store) Freshers with relevant training may be considered based on communication and sales aptitude.
