Job brief: We are looking for an excellent Travel Operations Head to craft effective travel policies and monitor travelling activity and programs for groups. You will be the go-to person for any relevant matter from booking tickets, Hotels, applying visas, handling insurance, Transports to reconciling expenses to ensuring travel safety.
A travel operations head doesn\xe2\x80\x99t just handle travel arrangements. They should be strategic thinkers and be able to create travel policies according to the company\xe2\x80\x99s needs. The goal is to ensure safe and organized travel according to company policy. Responsibilities: \xef\x82\xb7 Develop strategic policies and programs for educational travel
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare innovative and customized experiential education specific itineraries
\xef\x82\xb7 Handle and oversee all travel arrangements (air, lodgings, land pakages, Guides etc.) and operations
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage relationships with DMCs, travel agencies and vendors
\xef\x82\xb7 Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers and receive quotes from vendors
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide advice on travel documents, insurance, Visa etc
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
\xef\x82\xb7 Drive continuous improvement of travel programs
\xef\x82\xb7 Indivitually Responsible for outbound operations, data management, relationship building and product development. Requirements: \xef\x82\xb7 Mandatory experience of 2-4 years in the travel industry.
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations, customs and currencies
\xef\x82\xb7 Working knowledge of MS Office and CTM/GDS solutions
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent communication (oral and written), Presentation Skills and Negotiation Skills
\xef\x82\xb7 Well-organized and reliable
\xef\x82\xb7 An analytical mind with strong business acumen
