Job Description



Potential candidate will be a Service Operations Consultant with technical knowledge of Enterprise Server management. Identifying gaps and requirements by analyzing the environment and communicate this to the Service Owner. This role will be responsible to participate and drive the operational meetings such as Backup, Patch and Change. Work with vendor to drive the operational tasks to get a more stable delivery. Responsible for Supplier SLAs & KPIs.

Essential:

  • Good experience in Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, Configuration & Asset Management.
  • Experienced of ITIL service management in outsourced organizations
  • Excellent customer management & stakeholder management skills required - Mandatory
  • Vendor Management skills to deal with suppliers
  • Basic knowledge on Windows, Linux, Database, Network , Backup & Storage environments
  • Understanding of Infrastructure Management Services and the respective market trends
  • Knowledge on Patch & vulnerability management
  • Knowledge on IT Security & Risk Management
  • Essential knowledge on Agile planning & ways of working
  • Experience of Vendor contracts, review reports, SLA and KPI discussions with vendors
  • Detail oriented and good collaboration skills
  • Is not afraid to express the stand points and feel responsible to highlight issues.
  • Takes responsibility & ownership of Operation delivery.
  • Ability to Lead team and co-ordinate with stakeholders & customers
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to chair supplier governance calls
  • ITIL or SIAM certified
Key responsibilities:
  • Some understanding of industry trends, concepts, opportunities, threats & constraints
  • Understand service levels for customers and agree with Vendors
  • Focal point for both internal and external customer/vendors on all matters relating to the
service
  • Ensuring all working procedures are maintained and kept up to date, while assisting and
implementing continual process improvement
  • All coordination activities needed to secure the customer's operation
  • Ensure a Structured and efficient delivery of assigned products according to agreed targets.
  • Provide relevant product reporting
  • Ensure Supplier performance
  • Estimate costs for products\services
  • Ensure adequate support arrangements in line with SLAs/OLAs
  • Perform Product evaluations, Service Improvement & Continual improvements.
Educational Qualification:
  • Qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation
  • Relevant Experience: 8+years of Service Management (IPC Areas)
  • Total IT Experience : 12+ years
