Job Title: Operations Manager Company: Butterfly Ayurveda Private Limited Location: Gurgaon & Manesar : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations manager to oversee our manufacturing facility and drive operational excellence across multiple areas, including factory production, supply chain and logistics, warehouse management, budgeting and costing, team leadership and development, as well as liaising with regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities: Factory Production: Develop and implement production plans to meet quality standards and achieve production targets. Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Ensure adherence to manufacturing best practices, quality control procedures, and safety regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement. Oversee and optimize blending and packing activities, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained. Develop and implement efficient production planning and scheduling processes to meet customer demand. Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards in all factory operations. Supply Chain and Logistics: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution. Plan and execute efficient logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of products. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to maintain strong partnerships and negotiate favorable terms. Implement robust systems and procedures for demand forecasting, materials planning, and inventory optimization. Warehouse Management: Develop and implement warehouse management policies and procedures to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements in warehouse operations. Budgeting and Costing: Prepare and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost control and optimization. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or customer satisfaction. Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Team Leadership and Development: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Recruit, train, and mentor team members, facilitating their professional growth and development. Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback. Promote a safe and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and high performance. Liasoning and Regulatory Compliance: Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and certifications. Coordinate with government agencies and obtain necessary licenses, permits, and approvals. Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus. Proven experience (7+ years) in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry. Experience of tea manufacturing & capsule (pharma) manufacturing shall be preferred. Strong knowledge of factory production processes, supply chain management, warehouse operations, and logistics. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, costing, and financial analysis. Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the manufacturing industry. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
