Job Location: Yelahanka Job Overview: The Operations Manager at Shantamani Kala Kendra plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the art school. This position is responsible for overseeing various administrative and operational aspects of the school, including facilities management, student enrollment and registration, staff management, and general day-to-day operations. The Operations Manager works closely with the School Director and other department heads to ensure that the school functions effectively to provide a nurturing and creative environment for students and staff. Key Responsibilities: Facilities Management: Ensure the school\'s physical environment is well-maintained, safe, and conducive to learning. Oversee maintenance and repairs, including coordinating with contractors when necessary. Manage inventory of art supplies, equipment, and other resources. Enrollment and Registration: Develop and implement enrollment strategies to meet student recruitment goals. Handle student inquiries and guide them through the enrollment process. Maintain accurate student records and registration documentation. Staff Management: Supervise administrative and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure staff compliance with school policies and procedures. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and creativity. Financial Management: Assist in budget development and monitor expenditures. Process invoices, track expenses, and reconcile accounts as needed. Prepare financial reports for school leadership. Student Services: Coordinate student services such as orientation, counseling, and support programs. Address student concerns and provide assistance when necessary. Event Coordination: Plan and oversee school events, exhibitions, and workshops. Collaborate with instructors and other staff to ensure successful event execution. Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, staff, and external partners. Foster positive relationships with local arts organizations and the community. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred). Previous experience in school administration, preferably in an art or creative education setting. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Knowledge of financial management principles. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. Passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering creativity and learning. Languages: Kannada, Hindi, English
