Role Summary



The Operations Head will oversee and manage end-to-end insurance operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, service excellence, and smooth workflow across all functions. The role requires strong leadership, industry knowledge, and the ability to drive process improvements and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities



1. Operations Management



Manage day-to-day operations: policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, claims coordination, and customer servicing. Ensure timely, accurate processing of all operational activities. Establish and maintain SOPs and service standards.

2. Compliance & Regulatory



Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and internal audit requirements. Oversee regulatory filings, audits, and compliance documentation.

3. Process Improvement & Automation



Identify process gaps and implement efficient workflows. Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives. Track and improve operational KPIs and TATs.

4. Team Leadership



Lead, train, and mentor the operations team. Conduct performance reviews and ensure high productivity. Promote teamwork and adherence to company policies.

5. Claims & Underwriting Coordination



Liaise with underwriting and claims teams for seamless operations. Address escalations and ensure smooth resolution.

6. Customer Experience Management



Monitor and improve customer service delivery across channels. Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.

7. Vendor & Partner Management



Manage relationships with brokers, TPAs, and service partners. Ensure vendors meet agreed SLAs and performance standards.

8. Reporting & Analytics



Prepare operational MIS, dashboards, and performance reports. Provide insights for strategic and management decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance operations (life/general/health). Strong understanding of insurance processes & IRDAI regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven experience in improving operational efficiency. Knowledge of automation or system enhancement projects is an advantage.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
