Job Summary Responsible for participating as an individual contributor in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, new product implementation, implementing existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Interfaces with vendors, engineering and peer operations organizations. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. • You are responsible for the management of daily activities of IT security operations mainly in Firewall rule preparation support, implementation, and quality check, Firewall operations and support (Cisco FTD, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint, Palo Alto) , F5 load balancers operational and support , Cloud based Proxy operational and support, Cisco ISE operations and support
• You will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of web proxy and other IT security systems like F5 load balancers, Cisco ISE etc.
• You'll take on tasks in defining the configuration of site to site and remote VPNs
• You'll enjoy helping the team analyze security risks, analyze vulnerabilities, and assess business impact for information systems, medium to high complexity, and cloud-based solutions.
• By helping to resolve technical issues identified in regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessment reports, you can do your part
• Transparency is important to us - you assess the need for security reconfigurations and carry them out as needed
• You'll work independently with application and functional teams to drive safety thinking throughout the product development process, from concept to testing and implementation to operations

Employees at all levels are expected to:

• You have a degree in computer science/information technology orientation, as well as several years of professional experience in the field of information security
• Security certifications are also welcome
• Through your experience, you have gained knowledge in information security operations mainly in Proxy solutions (cloud or in premise), Security firewalls of different vendors like Cisco FTD, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint and Palo Alto.
• You have a good knowledge with firewall management tools like Algosec.
• You have gained necessary knowledge to work with Cloud proxy solution, F5 Load balancers, Cisco ISE and NAC.
• Above all, you are characterized by extensive experience in Next Generation Firewall features, IDS/IPS, Application security in firewalls.
• You are able to do log analysis and correlation; Splunk knowledge is beneficial.
• In addition to preferred knowledge of scripting languages (e.B. Shell, Python), you will have strong knowledge in the following areas Firewall and IDS/IPS operation as well as implementation and testing of firewall rules (Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.), SMTP, DNS, SSH, TLS, (S)FTP and HTTP for Internet operation , Network communication protocols (DHCP, VoIP, syslog, SNMP), Network protocols (TCP/IP stack, SCTP, routing, and lower-level communication protocols) , Authenticating systems (AD, SAML, RADIUS, TACACS+)
• You have knowledge of PC and platform operating systems, including Windows servers, Windows 10, Linux and *nix systems
• It will benefit if you have good grasp of knowledge in the field of identity management and related security technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, ADFS and authentication protocols such as Kerberos
• You find it easy to organize yourself and have an excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good English skills round off your profile (both oral and written)
