Job Summary Responsible for participating in project teams, researching technical topics related to Company operations, new product implementation, assisting with existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Performs event correlation and identifies probable root cause; provides trouble isolation, basic troubleshooting and break/fix activities.



Core Responsibilities

• Logging, recording and prioritising all incidents received in to the Service Desk
• Contributing to the effective service provision of the Service Desk Team, adhering to processes and guidelines
• Ensuring online requests, incidents and requests are assigned and dealt with in line with SLAs
• Advising and assisting team members with service provision
• Dealing with queries in a calm, swift and customer focussed manner
• Providing 1st line support for all of Sky's IT infrastructure

Employees at all levels are expected to:

• Answering Service Desk calls in a timely fashion and providing 1st Line technical support
• Dealing with queries in a calm, timely and customer focussed manner
• Recording and prioritising all incidents received into the Service Desk
• Supply warm transfers to Service Desk Technical Specialists with appropriate professionalism
• User administration and general support
• Work closely with 2 nd line and other support teams within Workplace Technology
• Adhere to Sky's health and safety policies and procedures; report any safety issues to line management; and participate in Sky's objective to be a safe and healthy workplace.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
